Thereafter, on late evening of 03.06.2012, raid was conducted and fourteen girls aged about 16-18 years, out of which four are from Rajasthan, three from Nepal, two from Maharastra, two from Andhra Pradesh, one from West Bengal, one from Tamilnadu and one from Uttar Pradesh have been rescued by the police of PS Kamla Market, Central District, Delhi. A case vide DD No. 52 B u/s 32 JJ Act has been registered at P.S. Kamla Market.
Further investigation/interrogation is in progress. Further, legal action is being taken in the matter.
INVESTIGATION
All the girls belong to poor families and they were lured on the pretext of providing them good employment in Delhi. They are being produced before CWC, Delhi for taking further course of legal action.
MINOR GIRL RESCUED : KINGPIN OF A HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKET ARRESTED
With the arrest of Rishi Pal, aged about 32 years s/o Dharam Pal Munija r/o Village Bahupur, PO Gulawati, District Bulandshahar, U.P, Central District Police has rescued a minor girl of Bihar who was being sold at GB Road in the area of P.S. Kamla Market, Delhi.
INCIDENT
On 03-06-2012, SI Sushil, HC Rahul, Ct. Chhatar Pal and W/Ct. Madhu were on patrolling duty in the GB Road area. In front of Kotha No. 54, Kamla Market, they spotted one girl who was crying. They enquired from the girl. The girl told that she had left her village about a month back and came to Delhi in search of job. She could not get the job in Delhi and someone told her that she may get job in Ghaziabad. Therefore, she went to Ghaziabad. At Ghaziabad Railway Station, she met one Rishi Pal, who pretending to be her well wisher promised to provide a good job and took her at his house in Ghaziabad and kept her with him for a week. His wife and sister were also present in the house. On 03.06.2012, he brought her to GB Road, Kamla Market, Delhi to sell her. She listened the conversation between Rishi Pal and other person whom Rishi Pal was telling that as per his promise, he has brought the girl and was demanding Rs. 50,000/- from that alert person who was on phone. On listening the same, the girl assumed that she was in wrong hands and started crying. Accused Rishi Pal was searched nearby and apprehended by the alert police team. On the statement of the victim, a case vide FIR No. 55 u/s 366 A IPC was registered at PS Kamla Market, Delhi.
INTERROGATION
During sustained interrogation of accused person Rishi Pal, he disclosed that he used to work as a pimp at GB Road in the year 2005. After that he worked in a shoe shop in area of Hauz Qazi. After that, he left the work and started work of selling the innocent and poor girls at GB Road on pretext of providing job. He used to roam around on the railway and bus stations and search for girls who came all alone and looked easy prey. Till now, he had sold four such girls at Kotha No. 70 as per his confession.
Further investigation / interrogation is in progress. Efforts are being made to apprehend other accused persons involved in this racket.
