4 minor girls forced in to prostitution rescued

Four girls in the age group of 13-17 forced in to sex trade were rescued from G B Road on Thursday.

Police officials said during investigation girls revealed that they belong to poor families and were lured by a woman in Maharashtra who promised employment opportunities in Delhi. “They were first brought to some place in Delhi and kept there for few days and thereafter that lady sold them to Sumsum owner of brothel number 40. There, they were forced in to prostitution by Sumsum and Meena. Further investigation is in progress and raids are being conducted for arresting the accused,” said Devesh Chandra Srivastava, additional commissioner of police, central district.

During counseling it was revealed that the youngest girl was first brought to Rohini, outer Delhi and forced in to prostitution. “The trafficker found that the girl was too young to entertain the customers so he kept the girl in an isolated house,” said Rishi Kant.
